Progress. This post has pictures. Progress. The “baby’s room” is now beginning to look like a place one would call a nursery. Thanks to a well-timed trip to IKEA and some peer-pressure from Bill regarding a large rug from Lowe’s it seems we are making progress beyond paint color.

So far our my approach to becoming parents has been “we don’t need that”, so it seems the kid may feel like it is growing up in a 1950’s Soviet household with an eco-friendly twist i.e. it won’t have much, but the stuff it does have will be ridiculously overpriced and the landfills, as well as, our great-grandchildren will thank us. Progress.

We are so excited to see that you’re preparing for the arrival of baby Hauer. I see you have selected a nice shade of blue… hmmm. It seems that the crib needs some super expensive all natural bedding to compliment the eco-friendly room. Brandon is also wondering if the baby will have his/her own composter…. haha.
